The racing community needs your support and Mark Mapp -- Former ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour and Georgia Asphalt Series tech director -- is reaching out.
Mapp’s 11-year-old daughter Haley was diagnosed just 18 months ago with SIJA also known as Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Haley is teaming up with the Arthritis Foundation to help raise the money to help fund research and education on Juvenile Arthritis.
Coming up on December 7th is the Jingle Bell Run/Walk sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation and Haley has formed a team called “Haley’s Heroes.” This group will be running at the event held in Atlanta, Georgia.
This year the event will be held at Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia. Free parking is available and strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. However, pets cannot attend due to site restrictions.
Here is a link to their team page where donations and more information can be found about the walk. Visit http://jbrwatlanta.kintera.org/carriemapp and see how you can help Haley and her mission to help the Arthritis Foundation.
