Over the past 62 years, Speedway Motors is America’s Oldest Speed Shop and focuses on making racing fun, safe, and affordable. Thanks to an extremely successful event last year, Speedway Motors will host its 2nd-annual Racer Appreciation Day on Saturday, February 15 from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Racer Appreciation Day is expected to bring in hundreds of racers through the streets of Lincoln, Nebraska for the pre-season open house and sale. Many new race parts will be showcased during the event and will allow racers to try on new safety gear along with free dyno services.
Tech experts at Speedway will offer informative advice and touch topics such as maintenance, shock tuning and maintenance, as well as driver safety, brake systems and cooling. Tours of Speedway’s massive warehouse and Museum of American Speed will be open to everyone in attendance. Throughout the day free food and refreshments will be available and don’t miss the many chances to win raffle prizes and other giveaways.
"Local racers have been a crucial part of Speedway Motors’ success throughout our 62-year history,” said Clay Smith, President of Speedway Motors. “Our Racer Appreciation Day event is just one way that we can support these loyal customers who share our passion for racing.”
