Larry Bertrand runs State Line and he is involved in several different enterprises that utilize the speedway grounds. There is a racing school with many cars, a corporate use facility as well as the race track itself.
Larry runs a tight show and really cares about the way the track looks. The grounds around the stands, in the pits and just about everywhere are kept clean, green and there are even flowers planted not just for the fans, but in the pit area as well.
The Old Time Racers showed up with their old timee race cars. These reconditioned 1940's and up cars were all very well maintained with great paint jobs, no dents or other damage showing and ran an exceptional race that actually was a race, not just a demonstration.
The late model races were dominated by little 15 year old Nicole Behar in her number 33, flourescent lime green colored race car. That car was balanced and super fast through the tight turns of this short, 1/4 mile track.
