At Christmas time I recommend,
a Nascar driver you pretend
to be as you race around the mall
in search of a parking spot not too small.
Take each left hand turn at breakneck speed
and not an inch should you concede
to other shoppers also searching,
around the lot in huge autos lurching.
Once you’ve found that perfect spot,
give it up you must not.
The old and infirm can park further away.
The exercise will do them good today.
