We were so impressed with Oswego the track, but even more impressed with the new owners. Eric gave us the grand tour telling everyone working there that we had the run of the place.
In the office, a lady who has worked here for years just beemed when telling us how much she liked working for the new owners. The brothers dad used to race here too and ran the inaugural race back in 1951.
It was a dirt track initially, but for only one race and was then changed to an asphalt track. Only two classes race here this weekend, the Small Block Supers and the Super Modifieds with the offset engines and huge tires. It was a wonderful time for us.
