The custom for this race is to build a huge bon fire and this year did not disappoint. That is a regular sized picnic table sitting on top.
This was truly international racing with many teams coming across the St. Lawrence Seaway to race here. And this dirt race track is very popular with the area racers.
Located in the St. Regis Indian Reservation, this is one busy facility that is run as well as any we've seen yet. Lots of money has been put into the stands and buildings and it has helped build the attendance. We'll report more in our monthly article featuring the Tour.
