We get in two asphalt races this weekend starting with Kil-Kare located in Xenia, OH. This 1/3 mile track has history, but is struggling in these tough times. None-the-less, the racing was good.
Being an hour or more from Columbus meant the track did not draw from racers in that area. The drive is a bit too long for a Friday night race, so the numbers are somewhat low.
In reverse, we saw some of these racers when we went to Columbus the next night and that boost the attendance for the Sat. night event.
Kil-Kare is a bit of an odd shape where the cars are turning most of the time. There was good action and 2 and 3 wide racing was normal. All in all it was a fun night of racing.
