The first annual IMIS Motorsports Show in Indy appears to be a success. Here is what we saw.
The ailes were full, the racing dealers and manufacturers were busy and it is evident that racers love Indy...and Indy loves them.
Everone we talked to was excited to be here. The booths were admittedly not as big as in other shows that have been around longer, but many vendors expressed interest in expanding next year.
As many of you may know, the IMIS show is meant to replace the show that previously was in Indianapolis some four years ago or so. The arguement is that Indy is more central to the US racers and thus cheaper and easier to get to. And that is a valid argument.
At any rate, we had a great time and met some of our long time friends here, made many new ones, and hope to back next year.
