The process of shipping racecars to South Africa for the inaugural ASA Transcontinental Series has begun.
ASA's Dennis Huth reported exclusively to Circle Track that the first of the NASCAR style Nationwide Series cars have been loaded into shipping containers and have begun their long trek across the oceans toward South Africa. The car in the photo is one of the first in a series that will be shipped to South Africa in preparation for the 207-lap, 500-Kilometer event at the Phakisa Freeway Circuit in Welkom that will take place on January 29 – 31, 2010 as part of South African Speedweeks.
