Our USARacing project car is racing at Motor Mile this weekend. Here is what driver John Gibson told us....
The team had a test at the track last week and the results were positive says John Gibson, the driver. He predicts sitting on the pole from the lap times they were able to produce.
He told Editor Rob Fisher that they ran within a couple of tenths of the last race pole time and with the new harder right side tires this year, he thinks a top three or pole is a possibility. The team has changes some things about the setup from the last few races and we'll see how all of that comes out.
Let's hope they get a handle on it so we can report some success. A lot of hard work has gone into John's program this year and a good finish is what the team needs. Once we get all of the information, we'll pass that along to you. Keep tuned in.
