Corona, CA (November 4, 2008)- The officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have announced that the 2008 Awards Banquet will be held, for the first time ever, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN on Friday November 7th. "We are very excited to host the 2008 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Awards Banquet in Indy this year, especially at the Lucas Oil Stadium," stated Series Director, Ritchie Lewis, "We believe that the season is definitely one that people will remember for years to come, with the best competition week after week throughout the season, and to cap it off in such a phenomenal facility just seems fitting." Awards will be given out to the Top Ten in Lucas Oil Championship Points and the top Quarter Master "Rookie of the Year" drivers. There will be a few special awards given out during the evening as well.
Festivities will begin at 6pm (Eastern Time), with a Cocktail and Reception Hour, to be held from 6 pm until 7pm. Following the Cocktail and Reception Hour will be Dinner, which will be served at 7pm and last until 8pm. Capping off the evening will be the Awards Ceremony which will begin shortly after, at 8pm.
