Circle Track is about to get more technical about sprint car racing. Our editor, Rob Fisher, and I will be traveling to Texas soon to try out driving a sprint car and talking with experts in that genre of racing to get more insight. Here is the plan.
We here at CT have covered various tech about sprint cars in the past, but as you know, we don't regularly put sprint car tech in the magazine. That is about to change.
In the next couple of months we will be outlining our content for 2009 and part of that process is deciding to do a lot more sprint car tech. To start that out, we will be visiting a sprint car racing school and talking with some of the top sprint car teams in the country.
We will approach sprint car tech just as we do stock car tech, with straight forward and honest information that will make sense to you and that you will be able to take to the track to improve your program. We shy away from generalized tech and go for more indepth analysis of topics.
We get a lot of positive feedback about this approach and it confirms to us that we are taking this magazine in the right direction. So, if you have any particular needs for knowledge about sprint car racing, let us know. Outline your concerns and how you could benefit from a better presentation of technical content in CT. We will be listening and reporting back.
