Over the past ten years, dirt track technology has progressed at a phenominal pace. What has happened and why?
It is a widely known truth among the top echelon in dirt circle track racing that meaningful technology has been developed at a rapid pace over the past ten years. The result is a much better understanding of what the cars want and need and how to design and set them up.

Tech topics such as roll/moment center design, dynamic balance, rear steer, adjusting for track conditions, weight distribution, etc. have been researched, tested and applied. What works on paper must work on the track. What has survived is what has been proven to make the car handle better, go faster for longer, and win races. That is the way it has always been and the way it will always be.
Share your thoughts on how your program has progressed using newer forms of technology. Let us know where your interests lie. Give us success stories to share. I am fortunate to be able to get inside information on how things are being done at the top in each class, but I need your input. Respond to this and other blogs and let us know how your program is going. After all, you can remain anonymous. Bob Bolles.
