Turns out that this motor, which Bobby purchased from another racer had been run very rich. Not an uncommon occurance as we all know that running a motor too lean can result in a burned piston. In any event, the decision to run rich left significant carbon desposits which our new engine builder George Pils at Southern Style Racing Engines clean her all up and is getting set for a dyno run tomorrow.
